joining this discussion board was a first for me a few years ago.

one of the things i've come to appreciate is that we all come from different backgrounds, families and ways of thinking.

there is not always just one right answer to a question.

Once I was visited by an elder who was delighted in the attendance at a newly formed hispanic cong. He described how the hispanics were so hungry for the truth and that they were the ones he was concentrating on. His words were something to the effect: " The hispanic brothers in the congregation showed so much more love and humility than the whites". I felt ashamed after he left for I am white and he is hispanic. I truly believe that if the roles were reversed, I would have been reprimanded.

hi, i am with my friend dedpoet again, we've been out for an hour or so, and he has kindly allowed me to post again from his pc as i have no internet access at home.. i have been reading all your kind replies to my posts of a few days ago, thank you all so much.

afew things have happened to me in the last few days which i would like to share with you all.

i missed tuesday nights meeting, as i have been doing for all the meetings for the last few weeks, and at around 930 had a visit from the po and another elder.

although it was no secret among many in the wnba it is a courageous move and she should be applauded.. however, she announced that she has been in a relationship for a few years with her former assistant coach alisha scott (i think i got her name right).
